Sara creates bespoke lip portraits through a highly personal, collaborative process. Each commission begins with a private photoshoot and evolves into a one-of-a-kind artwork that reflects the individuality, expression, and presence of the sitter.

Sara has had the privilege of creating custom lip portraits for esteemed figures including the Princess of Liechtenstein, English National Opera artist Benson Wilson, and Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1 - Creative Discussion

Sara will begin by discussing your vision for the lip portrait. This is an opportunity to explore mood, colour, and any ideas you may already have in mind.

Together, you’ll consider elements such as:

• Colour palette

• Scale and finish

• Embellishments such as neon, diamond dust, or gold leaf

Sara will guide you through these decisions while ensuring the final piece remains true to her signature style.

Following this discussion, Sara will provide a tailored quote. Should you wish to proceed, a 50% deposit is required to move to the next stage of the process.

Step 2 - The Photoshoot

Each lip portrait commission begins with a private photoshoot with Sara, either in London or Brighton.

The session lasts 1–2 hours and is designed to capture the foundational images that will inform your final artwork. These images focus on shape, texture, expression, and subtle details unique to you. 

(No modelling experience is needed, the shoot is relaxed, guided, and collaborative.)

Step 3 - Creation

Using the images and creative direction established during the consultation, Sara will create your bespoke lip portrait in her studio.

Each artwork is entirely unique and produced with meticulous attention to detail.

Typical completion time:  8 - 10 weeks.
